Located in the heart of Ramsbottom, The Old Bank occupies the beautifully restored former Royal Bank of Scotland building. Set across two Beautifully decorated floors, our independent café bar blends historic character with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you're joining us for breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening dining, handcrafted cocktails, barista coffee, interactive darts, quiz night or live entertainment, you'll find it the perfect place to relax with friends, family or colleagues. Walk-ins are always welcome, and you can also book a table online to guarantee your spot.
The Story of The Old Bank
Standing proudly in the heart of Ramsbottom, The Old Bank occupies the beautifully restored former Royal Bank of Scotland building on Bridge Street, The site has been part of the town's history for generations, serving as a bank for many decades before the branch closed in 2019.
Following a careful restoration the building reopened in 2022 as The Old Bank - an independent café bar that has given this historic landmark a new lease of life. While its purpose has changed, many of the building's original features remain, creating a unique setting that blends Ramsbottom's heritage with modern hospitality.
Today, guest can enjoy breakfast, lunch, evening dining, handcrafted cocktails, barista coffee, live entertainment and private events, all within one of the towns most recognisable buildings.
We're proud to be part of the continuing story of this iconic Ramsbottom building.
